Knead Relief is a mainstream massage center that is passionate about providing a client centered, therapeutic escape from the stress and pressures of everyday life, as well as promoting overall health. Unlike many day spas, we not only want to give our clients the ultimate in relaxation, but we want to share the overwhelming healing properties of massage. It is our goal to encourage convenient, high-quality, life enhancing massage in the everyday lives of even our busiest clients.

During this specialty treatment, your therapist will place smooth, heated basalt rocks on specific points on the body.

Our Staff

At Knead Relief we have searched timelessly to find therapists who possess our vision to provide clients with relief from daily stresses, as well as develop health and well being through massage. Each of our licensed therapists is trained and experienced in various types of massage and will personalize each session to your individual needs. All are LIcensed Massage Therapists and many are Nationally Certified. They will work with you to reach your goals and maximize the benefits you receive, all while respecting your level of comfort. Caitlin graduated in April 2016 from the Finger Lakes School of Massage. She offers relaxing therapeutic massage integrating Traditional Swedish, Deep Tissue, myofacial release, Sports, and Shiatsu techniques. Each session is created to specifically fit you. Caitlin wants you to achieve your personal wellness goals as much as you do!

Renee B.

Renee attended the Finger Lakes School of Massage (Ithaca, NY) and graduated in December of 2010. renee specializes in traditional/Swedish massage, and enjoys neuromuscular work as well.

Christine S.

Christine received her training at the Finger Lakes School of Massage (FLSM) in Ithaca, New York. Except for a recent pause to purse full-time social work employment (she also hold a Masters degreee in social work), Christine has practiced therapeutic massage part-time since 2009. At FLSM, Christine learned the value of massage as a "pause" for self-care, to promote wellness and well-being. She strives to craft an experience tailored to a client's needs for relaxation and neuromuscular relief, by mixing techniques and varying pressure accordingly. Christine will do her best to treat each Knead Relief Client as a special guest.O

Patrick P.

Patrick graduated from the Finger Lakes School of Massage 2012, and holds a New York State license. Patrick is very fitness oriented and enjoys working with athletes of all kinds, customizing his massages to target any issues and maximizing sports potential in his clients. In addition, Patrick works a lot with deep tissue clients who are seeking relief from chronic pain issues and tight muscles. Massage appointment types available for booking Sports, Deep Tissue, Traditional *Patrick does not do Prenatal or Hot Stone massages.

Danielle J.

Danielle graduated in June 2009 from the Finger Lakes School of Massage. Her massage technique combines circulatory Swedish Massage and focused deep tissue therapy tailored especially for you, to support your body's wellness and healing. Available Tuesday-Saturday. Call for availability today!

Kristina A.

Kristina originally hails from Brooklyn, NY, and studied Massage Therapy in New York, NY. Having graduated from the Swedish Institue College of Health Sciences in 2009, Kristina specializes in Deep Tissue Massage and Trigger Point Therapy. Her Swedish Massage approach combines elements from many varied modalities, including: Shiatsu, Reflexology, and Myofascial Release.

Cheyanna W.

Cheyanna received an Associates degree in 2012 from Morrisville State College. In her two years attending she studied Myology, Human Anatomy, and Physiology. Western and Eastern Massage as well as Neurology and Medical Massage. She specializes in traditional and deep tissue massage in addition to Shiatsu, sports, prenatal, hot-stone, and integrated massage.

Stephanie T.

Stemphanie, LMT is a graduate of Finger Lakes School of Massage in Ithaca, NY. She is a member of the Knead Relief Massage and brings three years of experience into her practice. She offers a relaxing therapeutic massage blending in integrative massage, prenatal massage, deep tissue and traditional. She intentionally creates a massage that will suit your specific needs. Her serene approach offers harmony, balance, and ease to your busy life.

Julia P.

Julia thinks giving a massage is almost as relaxing as receiving one! She graduated from the finger lakes school of massage in 2011. Julia specializes in tradional Swedish massage as well as deep tissue. Her slow and gentle approach will assist in great relaxation so that any trouble areas may be accessed a little easier. Julia truly enjoys helping you towards your personal wellness goals and believes that the power of touch makes all the difference in healing.


Kirsten Johnson graduated with her Bachelors of Science degree from SUNY Oneonta in 2001. After seven years in the news/radio profession she discovered her true calling as a Massage Therapist. After graduating from The Center for Natural Wellness School of Massage Therapy in Albany, New York, Kirsten moved to Austin, Texas where she spent five years working at the Hyatt Regency Lost Pines Spa Django and then nearly three years at The Kunisch Wellness Center in Taylor, Texas. Kirsten moved back home to New York in June of 2016. Kirsten is married to a Purple Heart Veteran who was wounded in combat in Afghanistan in 2010.


Graduated from Onandago School of Therapeutic Massage in 2007. Moved to New York City and worked in Spas and Chiropractic offices until 2012. Mostly does traditional and deep tissue massage, and focuses on back / leg work.


Kelsie graduated FLSM. She specializes in Swedish massage, deep tissue, and pregnancy. With her long deep strokes fitting to each person, she will have you feeling relaxed and revitalized.


Jaqueline graduated from Fingerlakes School of Massage in 2009. Her massage technique includes combining traditional swedish with deep tissue and trigger point therapy, tailoring each session individually to her clients needs and goals. She also specializes in pre-natal work as well.

Our Facility

Our beautifully designed, modern center is conveniently located on the Vestal Parkway, on the banks of the flowing Susquehanna River, and offers a quiet and serene environment for our clients to find the relief that they need without going far from home.

Knead Relief features eight treatment rooms, a deck overlooking the river, and two couples room. All of our rooms are kept private to avoid any outside disruptions. To further enhance your experience, each room features heated massage tables, hot towels, soft lighting and calming music. These elements, along with our caring staff, create a tranquil and healing escape from the hectic world outside.

Along with our treatment rooms, Knead Relief encourages its clients to spend time in our “quiet room,” the most unique of its kind in the greater Binghamton area. The room is set in the far end of our facility, overlooking the Susquehanna River. Whether it is the sound of the flowing river, the colors of the changing leaves, the warmth of the shining sun or the calmness of freshly fallen snow right outside our window, our quiet room gives our guests a place to unwind and become centered.
